A large 7.7 earthquake has occurred in Chile.

Overnight there was series of earthquakes in Pacific Basin, 6.8, 7.3, and 6.6. Tsunami bulletins was issued for each of these events, however, only one small tsunami was generated.
The 6.8 occurred south of the Marina Islands and no tsunami was generated. For more information see here.

There has been a 7.9 magnitude earthquake near the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. The USGS reports. CNN reports the quake was felt 400 miles away in Singapore.
